| Ive got one! Im actually selling it! Its great but Im starting my rig from scratch. here is the low down on the Peavey, 4 preamp tubes. Most only have 2. 3 channels. 1 clean 1 overdrive 1 high gain Effects loop for all channels. The clean is pretty nice. Not Fender clean but still pretty damn good! The overdrive is totally AC/DC and the high gain is more like Dream Theaters Images and Words. Its not SUPER High gain but its up their. I used a TS9 and it was enough for me. And Im a gain junky. I just retubed it with Euro Tubes hottest tubes. They really add more to it. Its missing 1 or 2 screws for the cover plate and a few knobs. Ill let er go for $200.00 B4 shipping. Let me know. Also their is a website called www.fjamods.com (I think thats the url) that mods the RMs for more gain or better tonal options. Plus they have clips.  |

| I was very intrigued to grab Scott's when he had it up for sale, but i really want a combo next. I'm a sucker for versatility, and three channels + all those loops just looks like a blast to play with. |

| From what I can tell, the Rockmaster is just the pre-amp of the old Peavey Ultra head, which were AWESOME! It was my main rig for several years. If you paired it with a good poweramp, it should be great. |

| I've been looking at these since I saw Scott's aswell, I'd snatch yours for $200 Nick, but I'm just watching eBay and craigslist like a hawk trying to get one closer to $150 if possible, heh. Saw one end at that a few weeks ago. |

| According to JerryP from FJA mods it's the preamps from the XXX, JSX, Ultra Plus, and 5150 all in one box minus a bit of gain. I've never played one myself but I have heard nothing but good things. |
