Diamond amps spec OP

After seeing The Diamond amp Spec Op at NAMM in TX and then hearing rusty Play it live I am very impressed with the sound this amp pulls..I looked into getting one and thinking about it the CEO of Diamond amps is a really nice guy too and likes to get his amp out there would anyone be interested in a review of this amp?

I'd like to see one. I talked to someone with Diamond last week and he said the Spec Op was going for $2200 or $2400(can't remember). Didn't much care for the soundclips.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

You can never fully judge an amp's overall by MP3 soundclips. There's just too much during the recording process that messes with the pure tone. Considering that Jerich has heard it in person, maybe he has a bit more knowledge of what it's fully capable of. Hear it for yourself, then judge.

Shannon with the wisdom
I think the sound samples did not do justice. But once again "sound is in the ear of the beholder"..It peaked interest in me. I do not care for Mesa rectifier tones but others cannot live without them..The Diamond amp might be that bridge I was looking for.

Companies should be more careful with what they post as soundclips. To me, it almost sounded like Krank Pt. Deux

I'm actually gonna stop by and try out the Spec the next time I go to Houston. Unfortunately, I don't know when that'll be.

I am working on getting one right now...Even knowing i think Rusty's tone was a little thinnn to my liken when i saw them Live...i still felt the amp stood strong on it's own when i was at NAMM Tx with various people playing it and dialing in a lot of different tones it impressed me. I have never heard sound clips i ever liked....My ears are what count.they do not ship till end of August. I talked with Jim the CEO so he's going to let me know....Plus KRANK are so prone to breakdowns..who wants to spends $$$ for an amp that will only be seasonal.....and Hughes & Kettner are becoming a pain in my ass with PARTS!!!!!! for my three heads....

Would be awesome if you could get hold of one! I'm very interested in how these things perform. Probably a bit out of my price range though, being a few thousand miles away and all
