Ultimate Rig finally complete !!! (pics inside)
I have at last managed to put together my dream setup!!! It goes like this:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Furman PL series II DMC Ground Control Pro George L's Cables throughout RG1527 w/TZ7 and AN7 to DMC GCX Guitar audio switcher -MIJ Boss SD-1 in loop 1 to Mesa/Boogie TriAxis -TC Electronic G-Major send/return in GCX loop 2 and 3 to Mesa/Boogie Stereo 2:ninety -Custom Cédrik Ménard SwitchBox to toggle Half Mode on/off to Recto Standard Slant 4x12 cab The trick here is that I use the GCX as a master switcher for true bypass and control of the Deep and Modern modes on the 2:90. Let me know what you think!! Cheers! Ex.
No Pain, No gain.

Very nice.
![]() How's the Ground Control working out for you? I've often thought of getting one to control my entire rig. |

the GCP works great. It is made tough with real carling switches and thick metal chassis. the display is huge and easy to see in tha dark and from a good distance. It can control up to 4 GCX swotchers and 8 indivudual midi devices. I can also send Midi CC changes to an FX processor for a "stompbox" setup. Personnaly my other choice was the Axess FX-1 but it was wayyyy overkill. The GCP is the cheapest Pro level midi foot controller IMHO.

I have always been used to tweak my tones with POD series of emulation systems. At first, the machine feels odd. It takes quite some time to get used to the esponsiveness and definition of a tube amp. But so far I am more than pleased. The Lead2 Yellow mode is by far my favorite for detailed chunky rhythm tones. Ill post some clips some time soon.
