Opinions needed on a Rig: Ada Mp1 3.666 + Carvin FET 450

Heya fellas, I'm looking to acquire a new rig through a trade.
It's my dc-5 combo for a H&K Attax 100 preamp, a Ada mp1 3.666 mod and a Carvin FET 450.

I know the ada mp1 is supposed to be awesome, but I'd like to know if anyone runs these into a solid state poweramp with success.
Also I can't find much info about the Attax 100 and the Carvin FET 450 at all, anyone like to chime in on those?

Cheers!

Not sure on the other two but for best tone you'd want a tube poweramp regardless. Somebody just posted on here recently about their ADA seeming thin and it was obvious it was because of using a SS poweramp. Get yourself a Mesa 20:20 at least and that'll get you some tube warmth working for you.

Honestly though that sounds like a rip because you can buy a used ADA for like $75-$150 if you look around and a DC5 isn't cheap.

Well I don't have the option to a tube poweramp because I have absolutely no cash.
I think i'm gonna try out his rig to see if it sounds good.
Where do you find an ada mp1 for that cheap? The ones I've seen lately are 200 and they're stock.

Any idea if anyone famous use the FET450?

I bought mine at Guitar Center used for $79... people are always selling them in craigslist and bringing them into stores etc... I really think you'd be shafting yourself doing that trade. Sell your amp and use the money to get better gear if you don't want your amp anymore.
