The Epic Pedalboard change. (56K = Actually not so epic after all)

My first very short picstory, I guess..
This is what I had last week...

Well, In urge of cash & convenience (I really am not a rack guy after all i guess) I sold my G-major and Behringer FCB1010 and bought some goodies..
I basically did this because I've been hating spending a lot of time setting up my rig on my own and actually use 3 patches on the g-major (and don't have the time and patience to really set them up and stuff) because I play death metal.

So here's what I got:

Fuck yeah, a pedalboard flightcase!
It's stable (& heavy) as fuck, but the harder the better!

And let's take a look inside...

W00000t!

Ernie Ball VP
Ibanez TS9
Boss NS-2
MXR ten band EQ
Engl Z-5
Korg DT-10
Boss RC-20XL LoopStation
Digitech PDS1002 two-second delay ( )

I'll get a Maxon analog delay to replace the digitech and after the summer I'm thinking of ordering the Bloody Murder to replace my TS9 ...

But now....It's time to hook things up!

excellent rig man!!! i have a powerball as well and i love it to death. is yours version 1 or version 2?

also, it's just preference of course, but you should definitely check out ISP for their noise gates to try swapping out that NS-2.

great, would like to hear a Powerball, never heard one before, also like the dude said u should check out the ISP Decimator, I used to have a NS-2, lost it at a gig, bought the Decimator and I think it is a better gate than the NS-2, the only benefit u get from the NS-2 is the loop, but then again the Decimator is really transparent, doesn't compress ur tone like the NS-2 does

I've heard they're great but we don't have 'em here in Italy..maybe i'll have one shipped over when I get my Bloody Murder.
I still have to figure out what to get to power all these pedals up..
I was thinking an MXR DC Brick because I have the 10 band EQ which is 18V

you could try that MXR or Voodoo Labs pedal Power II or even Godlyke Powerall power supplys. I have one and it's great! i think it connects up to about 6 pedals and can power everything from Line6 pedals to the Digitech whammy using different adapters. They even have European voltage converters so you'd be good to go and they're pretty reasonable price wise.

Majorly old thread but I'm just gonna put this out there: If anyone has the spontaneous thought of donating their ENGL powerball to a 17 year old kid... I'm available

God I love powerballs... Greatest amp I've ever heard, bar none.

You won't be disappointed with the MXR Analog delay if that is what you are after. I picked up the carbon copy a few months ago and I am in love with it. Very nice and dark decay.

Nice setup.
