Chorus Pedals (good ones!!!)

Many years ago when I went out to buy a chorus pedal, I ended up buying a Flanger instead. I figured, if 'everyone' else uses chorus on clean channel and I use flanger, I'd stand out as being more original and unique etc. etc. Over the last year Ive come to realise: there's a very good reason why 'everyone' uses chorus and not flanger!!! So I has need of some chorus...

Ideally I was thinking of getting Mr. Chaos to mod a Boss chorus for me, so it would fit in nicely on my pedal board as a direct replacement for the Boss flanger. But which one?? There's CE-2, CE-3, CH-1, CE-5....I get confused!!! Any suggestions?

As for mods Id basically want tr00 bypass and if possible, better low-end response for 7-string lushness, good plan? Oh, and just to be sad Id want an LEDovChaos

as far as chorus goes. my old stock MIJ CE-2 is absolute perfection to me. as soon as i plugged that pedal in, it was the exact chorus sound i had in my head. having said that, i'm sure Joe could mod one of the newer Boss pedals to sound as good or better than anything. true bypass might be a problem with the Boss pedals though, in their design.

To me, that chorus perfection is the chorus that is built into the Roland JC120 Jazz Chorus amp. I want THAT in a pedal.

That exact thing is in my plans for the future

Don't expect it any time soon as I've got WAAAAAY too many things going on right now but it may happed

In the mean time I'm all about the BYOC chorus! DAMN good pedal!

Check out the Marshall Supervibe pedal.

Without a doubt, my single favourite stompbox, and only cost me £45 (new) when I got it eight years ago.
