Blending Amps
I have a question for anyone knows the basics behind blending amps. I was at a small show and one band "Parkway drive" who are my favorite in the whole world wheeled out a rack system, that included a 5150 and a rackmount rectifier, and wireless system, then just 2 cabs and that was it between 2 guitarists. They said they blend the amps together.
What is behind this blending of cabs i keep hearing everyone is doing. Also I'm very fond of the randall RM series heads with the individual modules.....but i heard the power amp with a rackmount module system would sound MUCH better? Any help is greatly appreciated. |

I think they meant they blended the two rigs into one rack, and they choose tones that blend well with each other, my guess.
Two guitars running through the same amp rig just wouldn't work well.

^ What he said. Running two guitars into one or more amps flat out does not work well. You never combine instrument signals together.
