Wiring 4X12 cab to stereo... HALP!
ok, so i have no idea how to do this, but if i get directions, i´m really good at following it...
situation: i want to re-wire my cheap-ass Marshall MG412A 4X12 cabinet to stereo. it´s 8 ohms, and on the backside, it has one jack-in plug and nothing else. the jack plug is "recessed" into the cabinet, and it´s like a round barrel that kinda goes into the cab... so i´m guessing i´ll just need a new jack-plate for this, with two inputs, and then wire it up correctly? maybe adjust the hole that te jack plate goes over or whatever, but you know... so, anyone have suggestions as to how i should do this, and anyone know about replacement stereo jack plates to go on the back of it? and how many ohms would each side be if the 4 speakers are 8 ohms together now? :P
