both eclipses i tried it on an engl savage 120, a framus cobra, a dragon, a ruby riot (really really cool amp btw), and orange rockerverb100 and 50, and a kerry king jcm wtfever. the rgt i've tried in a plexi, a rivera 440w s440, and a stilleto duece. the soloist i got in a triple rec, a dual rec, and a jcm 800
It's not very good in mahogany or basswood typically. It would sound good in a Soloist with the right amp.

The only amps you listed I tried the Invader with is the Dual/Triple Rec. It sounded ok in the Triple. I've gotten great results with the Marshall DSL100, Peavey Ultra Plus, ENGL Fireball and my current VHT.

I will say the low end growl the pickup has is very intense, you definitely need a tube screamer or something to get it sounding it's best (except with the Peavey which didn't need one).

BTW that rack is really cool. It's a shallow one for fx units and the like (not deep enough to hold power-amps or anything). It makes the rack so much more light-weight, and it has neat compartments and can zip up so you can keep all the cables in there when you go to a gig. I highly recommend it for those who are sick of carrying around back-breaking racks. I think Gator makes it.

Nice practice space. I would love to try out a VHT, but I've never even seen one in person.

Looks like I'll have to indulge, I have a G Major that needs a permanent home, could do with a dedicated rack tuner, and want an ISP decimator at some point too

How is the G Force anyway?

dsl's really are underrated, i agree, i really did like mine. Tone shift knob should be modded to control something else, a switchable lead boost for example. The deep is usable though, although it does sound better with both disengaged and cranked to hell and back!

Killer space you have there. If I ever form a band I'd deffinetily look into setting up a similar arrangement.

Also, I have that same Behemoth shirt.
