PM me. It's pretty simple, you just have to change a couple of wires around. True bypass is obnoxiously easy.

535Q's are also SMD and I haven't been able to find a schematic for it. It's not like the GCB95.

You don't need to figure the circuit out, you just need to connect the wires on the switch that correspond to the 'on' position permanently and then use the switch already in the circuit to go between the circuit and a direct connection between the jacks, so it's not as bad as something like an Ibanez or Boss pedal with the FET switching hell. I generally hate working on SMD boxes, they're the embodiment of evil as far as I'm concerned.

iirc, true bypass with a 3pdt switch allows a battery kill, along with an led circuit, so it shuts off that function on a completely seperate line of connections

Exactly. Normally the battery is being drained whenever there's a plug in the input jack; this would not change that. His solution does allow for a configuration that turns the wah off when not in use.

is it possible to install true bypass in Boss pedals at all? i thought the housing was too small to do much of anything in there

It's possible, but the real annoyance is that damned FET switching. An easier option, especially if you have more than one, is to just build an FX loop and have the pedals you wouldn't want engaged in that. It's really simple to do that, and you can even as many loops as you want for the cost of a switch and two jacks.
