Question So I'm in need of a Halfstack but...

im not the richest person in the world at the moment.

Today while jamming with my friend for the first time ever,
since i never knew he actually could keep a beat or play that
well, I was reminded of the shittyness of my combo amp at...
4... yes, 4. It's pathetic so I was wondering if I should just
buy a Line 6 Spider III HD 150 half-stack or save up for
a Vader cab and then possible a 6505+ head.

I am the one who is always exhuming
I am the one you think you see at the darkest of nights
I have yet to reconcile the thoughts within myself
for still I am one with the dead
Oh, sanguine blood of thy corpse
Quench my thirst
and stain my skin
Oh, how ironic it is to feel so alive when you cease to exist...
I adore what I have become.

I'd imagine you'd be better off with the second option.

You've got your head down
You've got your eyes closed
You look so pitiful now

Your body encrusted with ash
Breath heavy with toxins
Hair singed and matted
Clothes frayed and burnt

You are left with nothing

i suggest checking out used music stores before doing anything -.- also go to any music store and play through some amps just to get a taste of what all have to offer.. i know it seems noob'ish but if your in a zakk wylde funk you may buy a epiphone les paul that you will regret (as example) just keep your options open man

unless you absolutely NEED a new amp and cab for playing live/ recording, etc. right now, it would be best to save for the 5150/ Vader. you're only going to be wasting more $ on gear you don't like by buying the spider III stack.

used 5150 on top of a vader 212. its not a half stack, but im preeeettty sure it'd blow brains out.

with the triple X, you will probably fall in love with the crunch channel long before the ultra lol (feels more raw and open, the ultra is super tight and focused)

since you're lookin, go play some amps

5150 and Vader.

7StringofAblicK-This is my footswitch. it changes channels on my amp - just like on a television, but I only have four channels.

don't waste your money in compromise solutions like a spider head. Be patient and invest in a 5150 + vader.
