Using a Line 6 Guitar Port I discovered that backing off on the gain made a HUGE difference. Not only was I finally able to get some workable tones, but I was also able to get more of a "tube" sound as well.
Another thing that I found helped immensely was to layer several different speakers types. I learned that the hard way after wasting a ton of time trying to find the "perfect" single tone. |
