Different wattage speakers in series-parallel

i see that they say to use 4 identical speakers for series parallel wiring, what will happen if you use 4 of the same impedance speakers but one pair handles 80 watts each and the other handel 60 watts each?

That'll work fine bro, wattage makes no difference at all in impedance. For several years I used mismatched speakers in my cabs, I couldn't find a single speaker that made me happy so I mixed them. NEVER were they the same wattage.

Now that I'm pimpin' a Vader I need not worry about these thing anymore

i know you bastard!

i spent all my money on guitars and didnt update the audio gear , well , i guess i did, i bought all new speakers but i'm rewiring, i believe i did this parallel series thing with different wattages before with no problems either, but i just saw repeated sites saying to make sure impedance AND wattage have to be the same, but i figured it was bullshit and they would still work no prob, but thanks for the reassurance man, one day the vader fairy will visit me
