Looking for a certain sound
maybe someone could help me out im looking for a distortion sound like the band Flaw without going and buying a mesa triple rectifyer. im just looking to get the distortion strait from the amp no pedels. any suggestions

I owned a Madison Divinity for a while and it was the closest sounding thing to a Recto I've ever heard, just tighter. They're pretty cheap used too!

What are you looking for specifically? (examples : channels, watts, speakers, ss or tube, onboard fx, etc.) What's your budget?

im looking for a head no more than $1000 , tube , could care less about channels i have a good clean amp that i can use for cleans but a head with good distortion and a good clean channel would be nice. dont need any effects i have all my own. just a good distortion amp thats loud is all i need

you own a triple rec, and you're trying to sell it, to buy something similar? hm.
peavey 6505? peavey JSX? mesa mark IV? good deal on a bogner? used VHT pittbull maybe? look into those ones.

no i sold my triple rec a wile ago and it sucked i needed the money now that i have some money im tryin to get something similar without spending to much and i found some demos on that Madison Divinity and it sound realy good
