Holy shit! 1100 WATTS of guitar domination...with subs! Has anyone played/seen/heard this thing?

That's pretty slick, but the head's only 300W RMS. Seems odd that they'd give the sub more power than the actual power amp.

I'd like to hear one.

Lower frequencies tend to spead out rather than come out directional, maybe that's why the sub needs more power, so the low end travels far enough.

Only 300w??? I agree with Wolfsd's answer. 300w is plenty of power for 12s, but a sub takes significantly more power to project those low freqs. Ever noticed that pro bass amps generally have 3x the power (or more) of most pro guitar amps?

I only say "Only" 300w because of the giant "1100W" at the top of the page.

That's really a 300w amp with two badass subwoofers in it.

True. The 1100w is a tad misleading, but you get their point.

300w amp
400w powered sub
400w powered sub

1100w total

Yeah, study hall worked for me.

My monolith riffs require an 1100W RMS head.

With midgets for an amp stand.

Recipe for greatness....

1) Turn that amp on

2) Turn volume and bass to 11 (Yes, it's 1 louder!)

3) Place Aria Giovanni & Dita Von Teese (or Sung Hi Lee if one of the girls is unavailable) directly in front of the both cabs with clothing that tends to fall apart during high-velocity winds.

4) Grab 7-string that's tuned to ultra-low double Z flat & plug in.

5) Hit first chord

6) Enjoy the results & consider yourself a rock god.
