Best 2x12 Cab for the Engl Fireball?

I decided to go with the Fireball, it suits my musical needs perfectly, it has only 2 channels and keeping it simple is exactly what I want, and It still sounds good at low volumes. Any good ideas for a good 2x12 cab for it? I read vht fat bottoms work exceptionally well with this amp.

Have you tried out any other nice 212s that you could compare the GFlex to?

You heard correctly. The Fat Bottom 2x12s are incredible, best one I've heard. There are other good cabs out there too though. I've never tried a G-Flex.

Honestly the G-Flex has a very distinct tone to it. It has lots of low end to it that some 2x12s sometimes dont have, and the baffle of the speakers spreads the sound out nicely making it sound really large. As far as other high end 2x12s i have heard i like this one the best. I have used a mesa oversized that i liked, and i have played it through an orange, and a marshall 1960 2x12 (not sure if that is what they call them, but the equivelant) and the character of the genz benz just seems to fit. I am not saying it is the best of them all, but it sure is great for me.

Fat bottom 2x12s sound really nice. I havent got to play through one with my fireball yet, but i played through one on my 50cl and it sounded great. If you get a chance to try out the g flex it is definitely worth your time.

Definitely dont rule the vht cab out, they sound great. I just havent tried it out with my fireball yet. If you get the chance to try out a couple of cabs though that would be best. Out of all of the cabinets that i have listed I liked all of them really, they all had characteristics that i liked about it, and the genz benz just worked for ME best. Good luck searching

BTW does the fatbottom cab have a warm clean tone as well, or is it just good for metal?

I am in the exact same boat as you but have narrowed down to a Mesa Rec, 2-12.

I just got a Vader 2x12 the other day. Sounds awesome with my SE and e860. I've heard great things about the G-flex though as well.
