Anyone seen this? RG7620, JPM project sold for $1900

I saw this JPM project on ebay; an RG7620 refinished and with the pots moved in the JPM location. Neck is stock RG7620 (not modded to have side dots and binding like the original) I was interested to see what it would sell for (I thought around the $700 - $800 mark) and was really surprised to see that it sold for more than $1900... I believe that with that kind of money you could build 2 similar project guitars... :ugh::nuts:

ok, so deftones played cinci. we just got home. i took my 14 year old son with me. we got to meet the guys!!!! this was my sons first ever show and he got to meet them. anyways heres a pic of him and chino!!

My band is headlining our first local show. Tips for a first time performer??

Hey guys, like the title says, I am getting ready to play a show with my band this saturday.

We got a spot headlining a show after a few bands dropped out, and now there are only two other bands performing before us. As you can imagine this puts a lot of pressure on us as a band and me as a guitar player especially my nerves. All of our friends will be out (we'll be playing in front of hopefully about 50) to see us but I'm still so nervous about getting up on stage.

If you guys have any tips about how to perform well on stage and any tips especially for a first time performer that would be AWESOME!!

I was thinking of having a couple drinks before we go on to take the edge off... good or bad idea?

Well I recently discovered a build thread by another member on here(tonywozere) of an 8 string headless guitar. I was very VERY impressed at the work and hit him up with some ideas. He sent me a rough sketch:

I loved the idea.

Here are the proposed specs

Scale: 35-32 fretted.
Tuning: G C G C F A# D# G#
Pickups: Two custom Villexs
Woods: Not decided yet.
Neck-thru.

I know I'm missing stuff but my brain is in a rush lol

Opinions/comments? Also go check out tony's other fantastic builds :shred:

Just got a 370 from a forum member. Not too sure about the trem right now.

Curious as to what you guys would suggest for a good, yet inexpensive, 7 string tremolo. If that exists.

FS Rocktron Prophesy (w/ patch upgrade) (possibly FS)

Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar:
- Not 100% on this... sort of depends on whether or not the other FS stuff goes in a reasonable timeframe. This is a mint Rocktron Prophesy I, upgraded to the Prophesy II patches (which I've confirmed w/ Rocktron means it's identical, just a slightly different looking faceplate). Sounds absolutely incredible, both live & for direct recording (I'd recommend IRs direct, it works very well with them due to the infinite tweakability).

Let me know if you have any questions. Have lots of clips of it recorded, both live & direct, if you're interested.

Hey, my name's Nick Brady, I'm in a band called The Carrion Tide, we're working on an EP right now, should be out this year.

Anyways, we've decided to use seven string guitars, so I picked up my very first one; a Schecter C1+ 7 string.

It's a beautiful guitar, great tone and had all the specs I wanted. I'm very happy with it.

I ran across this about a year ago and couldn't stop listening to it ever since. The song and video are just so addicting, I can't look away. It's like "The Wiggles" on crack :lol:

Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar:

EMG 81-7's - Just bought a set of Blackouts for my LTD SC-607 so I could A/B them with the 81-7's in the guitar. Turns out EMG made older 81-7's without the quick connect cables so I can't really do much with these now. They are in good shape but hardwired, not quick connect.

EMG HZ-7's - I took them out of my LTD H-307 a couple years ago now but they have just been sitting around. They are in good shape and have the 5 prong quick connect cables.

Schaller Locking Tuners - Set of 7 Schaller locking tuners in chrome, these are 7 in-line for a non-reverse headstock.

BKP's In EMG Housing?
