Agile July run

For those of you who preordered an Agile 8 last April, has there been a shipping date given to anyone yet? I realize that they were to be shipped in July (and its not July yet..), I'm just getting extremely anxious.

Pics will be supplied upon delivery..

No, I haven't heard anything. What did you get? An Intrepid, Interceptor or Sceptor? I got one of the Interceptors (since I already have an Intrepid) and I can barely contain myself for another month I'm so pumped.

I'm waiting on my Intrepid and didn't even realize how close it is until recently, hopefully I'll have it in time for the Ohio Hootananny

I ordered the Intrepid Pro Dual Cepheaus; natural finish and maple fretboard mahogany body neck-through. Basically the exact opposite of the RG2228 which I enjoy, but I wanted an ERG that wasn't another Ibanez or $3000. Though I was a bit sad to find out that the next run will feature the Intrepid Pro with 30 inch scale length instead of the 28.625, but I think that I will manage. Just typing about it makes the wait, well, more waiting.

Best part is that I'll have it for the gig I have in sebtember, which will be totally fucking awesome.

Do you mean the run after October? I was looking at the October run and the Pro's all have 28 inch scale still.

I got the Lizard Burst. If that thing comes out looking like the mockup (and what I see in my mind) it will be KILLER! That'll be one badass guitar for $800.

As I far as I saw, there was a brief window of time a few weeks ago that had 2 types of Intrepid(1 with 2 passive pups and another with 1 EMG 808) listed for the October run. Same price as the 28.625, but 30" instead. I'm sure there will be more in the future. The more people that keep buying from Rondo seems to bring out more options for guitar models. Which, of course, is Win and a Win for any ERG enthusiast

the more "attractive" offers from the october run went away pretty fast.

Thanks for the info, I think I am ordering an Intrepid Pro with the 28 inch scale so I know they still have those.

Does anybody know when they're going to be offering Interceptors again? I missed out on the last one, but will absolutely go for the next one.

Well, according to Kurt, the Interceptor 8s came out more expensive than he figured ($800 for the July run) and so it didn't look likely he was going to do another run. He didn't for Oct, at least. But, you never know, and we'll see how this batch fares in terms of everyone's opinion. Sounds like the next run will be more expensive, even if he does do it (but FWIW I think $800 is an absolute steal, anyway - stained top, 8 string, Kahler, 2 pickups).

Also I heard someone say that only like 5 or 6 orders were put in for them. I'm not sure if that's true, since there were a lot more people pumped about the idea when it first came up. Either way, I'll be stoked when my Lizard Burst (yeeeeah!) Interceptor 827 shows up next month!

Last resort you can order a custom one for a bit more money. That one guy on here (that looks like David Lee Roth circa 1980) got a 30" version.

I emailed Kurt after I made that post, figuring that would be the only way to know for sure, and this is what he said:
