Prototype Blackmachine fan fretted 8 string
Just put these pictures up as I hadn't spotted them on the forum before. The previous 8 string incarnations have typically been 30" scale length. In an attempt to make it more playable Doug has gone for a scale length of 25.5" - 28".

Materials: Honduras Rosewood with Ebony fillets, and Zebrano veneer. HE has put up pictures alongside a 6 string to show that he is able to make something more reasonable for smaller hands that want extended scale.
