Im just curious how many people have one of these preordered? I emailed Kurt and there is No way anyone else is getting one untill 2009!

But I will be getting one of these next year.

Also, from what i've read (went through A LOT of pages, but not all) there are 2 versions correct? the Neckthru(Pro) and the Bolt On(Standard). I've seen the neckthru.....what does the bolt on look like? And to all that will have an Intrepid mailed to them in August.... I hope you enjoy it!....you lucky bastards!

I can't believe he didn't order enough to have atleast a few of them in stock when they arrive though.

I have one ordered. The charcoal with ebony standard model. So far we only have the mockups that Darren has done. No one has seen an actual one yet.

I was going to but then they sold out right away because he wanted to get customer feedback before making more. Then they expanded the run, but I decided that was a good reason so I would wait until the second run. I hope I made the right choice but who knows...

Well, that makes me feel a LITTLE bit better about getting the 2nd batch. But it would have been Brutal to wield that Evil looking 8 string on the tour we're starting in August.

2nd batch ftw, (unless I end up getting a 2228 before that,) hopefully the Pro will be available in black next time. not sure how much that would raise the price. I also am hoping there will be a run of 27 inch scale 8 strings.
