![]() | Thought I'd let this little Agile secret out... So, to those who may have seen my posts, I was quite dismayed of the lack of a neck pickup on the Agile Intrepid Pro's. To fix this, I decided to have a custom done, and since I mailed out the deposit check today, I figure now would be as good a time as any to get it all started. Here are the specs: Agile Intrepid Pro w/ pointed 8 string Septor body Tribal Red Color Grover tuners Maple Fret board – 24 frets – Disappearing Pyramid MOP inlays (from the Ibanez Universe) Extra jumbo frets 5 piece maple / walnut neck through neck with mahogany wings on the body. LTD FM408 Headstock (took the idea from Kronpox on here) 28.625 scale Graphite Nut Hip Shot Bridge EMG808 Bridge AND neck pickups Basically I decided, while the Defiant body shape was cool, I preferred the body style of my Interceptor Pro, so I had my 8 string have that body, along with the tribal red maple top. Here is the picture I used as a reference for what I wanted the color to look like. ![]() 4 months of waiting... |

![]() | Oh! I apologize, yes it's an 8 string! I know basically you would think the model would be "8 string Interceptor Pro", but he kept calling it an Intrepid, I figure just because it has most of the same specs otherwise, and plus it's a badass name so I don't mind! |

![]() ![]() | Hear ye! I declare the Custom Agile 8 club in effect! Colonel Kronpox presiding, dub thee Drow Swordsman honourary VP. Sounds like it'll be sweet. I just hope the Septor body isn't terribly small, I was going to go with a Septor body too but didn't want it to be dwarfed by the neck. If yours look good then I may just have to order another custom 8 ![]() |
