Not to say I agreed with the lawsuit, but just to clear up a common misconception, it was never about Warr simply making an instrument for Trey Gunn (or even just making a tapping instrument in general). It was about a claim of unfair marketing practices.

If someone wants to make an instrument designed for tapping I think that's pretty cool, as long as they are respectful of standing trademarks I don't see why anyone would come after them.
