sethaetf is on a distinguished road
Lundgren m8 in rg2228?

thinking about doin' this up. to anyone who has tried this, did it involve any major surgery in terms of the pickups being a different size than the 808's? if so, what did it entail? and if not, where there any minor adjustments or additions you had to make? thanks a lot guys.

i did it. the pole pieces don't line up with the string exactly. but it doesn't seem to matter so much. Also the screw placement may be a little different. don't forget to change out the pots as well! I'm selling one with emgs in it right now but i'm tempted to keep it and put some BKP in it just try it. not sure i wanna spend the money though.

Kevin is right, the spacing is really close, and doesn't affect the sound at all. I was the first one here to mod my 2228 with an M8 and a custom ring, and I can tell you - it sounds excellent.

Please be kind to snakes. They can't help it.

Hey, everyone else totes around KXK and Sherman. He (and i do myself, to a point) totes around Roter a bit. Talk to him about pricing some projects out sometime, i somehow think youll be a bit more understanding about it. Just cause Nick and Dave and Matt and Steve and everyone arent tripping balls about it, doesnt mean you should look at someone funny because they're a big fan

Id say try roter, or more US local, try Dave at Fretsonthenet.com. he does anodizing and shit too
