So, other 8 string ibbies in the coming months/years?

Well, with the 2228 selling so well it would only seem like Ibanez would start to produce some other 8 string variants, and now that they have some competition in the form of ESP, I'm hoping to see some new 8's sooner rather than later.

I'd like to see some more affordable models, something equivalent to the 7321's, hey maybe even an 8S?

So, what do you guys think?

If they made a S8 with a longer scale I would buy that one. I really don't like the RG body style.

i think a meshuggah signature would be cool, id personally not be a fan of a cheap 8 string ala rg7321, that said i dont really plan to own an 8 any time soon so my opinion is void

Knights that say

A mesh sig would be amazing, but I know I'd never be able to afford it.

You don't think that in the near future Ibanez will produce more eight's? Why is that?

Cause market is smaller, because there are ESP 8 strings and those are cheaper Maybe Meshuggah sig would help, but the price could be to high for average customer who would like to buy 8 string.
When you want 8 string:
1. you want to experiment and you want it to be cheap
2. you know exactly what you want and then you will buy a custom for sure if production models are not what you are looking for

Thats my opinion.
