GOD i love that!

it was an idea i had when i saw the fretboard blanks Mike had for us, and my GOD, mike pulled it of 10X better than i thought!

basically, that´s BROWN EBONY (not macassar :P) with heartwood, and the headstock is a veneer made from the very same piece of wood that the fretboard came from

i can´t wait to see the finished result, it looks fucking AMAZING at the moment!

mike sent me a new pic, now that he´s received the stainless steel frets and installed them, and the inlays are in place, as well as the tuner holes!
