Well, the Groove Tools are the mass-produced Conklins, aren't they? If so I don't see it going MUCH higher... Natick, eh? That's pretty local...

Yeah, I played one down at my local gutiar store, and it said $1700 for the price. It played awesome, and isn't anything more or less than you need in a 7.

Nice. I played one when I visited Montreal back in the summer of 2000. I also know someone that has one. They are nice basses. I have a feeling that it will go for more than 500 too.

I have played the conklin at the local stores it was nice but not the price tag nice $$ i would snag either of these first.

yeah, I wanna get one of those Galveston 8's sometime to learn the tap bass stuff. It's always sounded amazing, but I've never had enough strings to do it! I know it's probably shit, but who knows...
