Cross Harp Zither- 126 strings

I kinda wanted to see him use all that range instead of just half of it. So if anybody finds some other videos with him let me know.

I thought it had something to do with pitch, or muting maybe.

Just like if you pick right at the bridge or at the end of the fretboard on a guitar, you will get different tone depending on where you pluck the strings on a zither.

exactly what i thought

man that was really cool. id be interested in trying it sometime. There's this girl that i know that goes to the same church as my mom (my mom always thought we should get married, shes pretty) that plays the harp and offered to teach me, but i could never quite embrace the idea of playing harp

See it as fingerpicking/stringskipping training, if you can handle 46 strings think of how easy it would be going back to your simple 7-string guitar.
