Good bridges have to have possibility od string height adjustment, but those Buzz-Free bridges have't.

I suggest those from Novax, cause as I see those have Graph-Tech saddles in, so quality is high.

I've seen that Blackmachine uses GraphTech Wilkinson-style saddles on a custom base plate for their 7-string and 8-string guitars, which i thought was a pretty interesting approach as well.

Oh they, do, but they only go down. They're sold in 1/16" increments, and you can file them down.

Thanks Ray for the effort in this topic well i definately trust graphtec saddle is so cool and nice is real mc coy !! but individual saddle as i thought thru it would leave alot of screwed holes on your guitar body perhaps is not a right way to do ... might wanna get a hard ebony board measuring it to the correct dimension countersunk two or three screw niche that would fitted in nice and even so thoese novax saddle would individually being drilled on the ebony plank ..... how is that for a deal fellow brothers in this forum ?? if any ideas or comments please keep it rolling thanks... i got this idea from Black machine guitars sorry i hope they are not going to sue me for infringement of their copyrights ...

You're concerned about drilling a few screws into your body, but you think nothing of countersinking an ebony plank into the surface of your guitar?

The Novax saddles are designed to be screwed right to the body. They're full "bridges" on their own. The Blackmachine bridges use Wilkinson saddles, and the ebony acts as the "base plate".

i was thinking to an extend that would minimise the screw holes created on the guitar body ... well i guess three being attached thru the body with ebony plank (base plate) is better than having 16 smalls bullets like penetrating into the guitar body.

What do you hope to gain by minimizing the number of things screwed directly into the body?

Any screw holes from mounting a bridge (or bridges) directly to the body would be hidden by the bridges themselves, and the bridges would also be much more directly coupled to the body wood, which is a good thing.

Even if you set an ebony block into the guitar's top to mount the bridges to, you'd then be ADDING three more screws to the process, because the bridges would still need to be screwed down to something.

It just seems like you're making something more complicated than it needs to be. Blackmachine took their approach because it was a very clean and minimalist way to use an existing part (the GraphTech Wilkinson saddles) to create custom 7-string and 8-string bridges using ebony as a base plate.

Mmmm well perhaps i overthink this issue here hahha..... but certainly getting screws too many into your body for things like bridge and at times u might need to change them so upon changing at time goes by the body might bore a looser hole and not sustain the saddle anymore .. unless filled with putty (wood fills) ... well not something big here certainly. i would start my extreme wide pentatonic stretches now and start burning my fingerboard thanks !!

I think you're definitely over-thinking. I don't think i've ever heard of someone having to change the mounting screws on a fixed bridge.
