Crimson Guitar's Custom 7-string Ergonomic Hybrid

Just saw this Crimson Guitars’ 05Ric Extended Range Bass over at Building the Ergonomic Guitar. They're calling it a ERB, because the player is a bass player, but considering the fretboard is flat on the bass-side, because it's played touch-style, and has a 12.5" radius on the treble-side, because it's played like a standard guitar, I'll call it a hybrid.

Two other interesting factors:

The neck is chambered for tone and reduced weight.
The pick-up is 10mm from the strings, buried under the fretboard.
