707 for 8 string guitar

Has anyone used EMG 707,81-7 for an 8 string guitar.What are my limitations.All help is appreciated.

Just use the 808`s, as they are designed for the proper spacing required for an 8 string. It uses the same preamp as the 707.

Maximum spacing for the 707 & 81-7 is 2.625" (2-5/8"), so no, it will not work for an 8 string.
