My 8 string Completed!

Rather than posting in my build thread, I found it better to start a new thread
Heres the build thread: My 8 string build:)
This guitar was obviously built with esthetics coming last, and functionality and playability coming first, it is tuned BEADGBEA with 27 Dunlop super jumbo 6000 frets, the electronics are EMG40HZ 5 string bass p/us which serve its purpose, but will be upgraded to EMG 808's in the near future. The control layout is simple, a 3 way LP style toggle switch within very easy reach, s I switch from bridge to neck p/u quite often, and a single volume knob placed out of the way but within easy reach, the bridge is a Hipshot fixed bridge(Big thanks to Canuck Bryan!) and the neck was made by Mike Sherman It's constructed out of a maple/purpleheart laminate and has a macassar ebony fretboard with RG1527 style size dot inlays, thanks to the darkness of the ebony you cant see the dots from more than 4 feet away making it appear to have no inlays also is about 2mm thinner overall compared to the RG2228 as it was designed after the UV7BKs neck.
The cutaway is similar to Cooleys Dean Model hence its odd shape, it has been sculpted so much and so deeply you hand almost never makes any contact with it even with the most extreme legato work Overall it it has a very Conklinish look to it. The scale is 25.5" and with Garry Goodmans extrordinary .006 string it tunes to high A with no problem, Ive bent it a step up, applied Cooley style alternate picking, tapped like a madman and the string still holds up With the 6000 frets you have to be careful and play with a light touch though as you cant feel the fret board wood underneath your finger tips, any hard pressure applied will cause the string to go sharp so a light touch is recommended.
Anyway on with the pics:

Such pain, I must help...deepen it

One pretty thing... CONGRATS, MAN!
Neck-thrus are simply soooo beautiful!

Clips! Clips! It's the first time I see a guitar housing bass' pus... made me curious.

Will it be pure djent?

I´ve a Swamp Ash neck-thru 7 and I really dig its voicing and brightness. What led you to this wood choice?

I dont have anything to record with ATM, but let me tell you, it has its place in djentness Remeber I have a high A as opposed to low F#, so I tend to lean toward lead work, but plenty of rythym will be administered. Its sounds great with the passive bass EMGs, from what Im told the active ones dont sound as great in a guitar, according ot mike Sherman these pickups are suitably voiced for guitar rather than bass, and I have to agree with him on that
BTW Rusty Cooley uses 2 diff. active bass pickups in his conklin 8

That looks badass Adam, congrats! Now you need to adjust the intonation on those saddles

Please be kind to snakes. They can't help it.
