Back on Cool711's question - my personal preference for upper fret access is to eliminate the lower horn like a Kubiki Factor bass. (have a glance at the pic in my profile if you like.)

I'm not sure how well this will show up on certain screens, but I've not got access to any image editing software at the mo. With regards to upper fret access - there'll be a large amount of scalloping round that area



Still not decided on....
