Cool clip, nice to hear that it's not overly Meshuggah-esque. Rhythm tone is alright, mine I get out of my XT is better IMHO, but that lead tone is .

Edit: Check out his cover of In Flames' 'Touch Of Red'... pretty good as well!

It sounds pretty cool, but its just so low... I think I will probably stick with 7s. Altough it would be pretty sweet just so show off an 8 string.
