![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | yevetz - i was curious cuz my string gauages are smaller that about every single person here, i think i'm the only one here who uses .008's, just trying to find out whats floppy and whats too tight, i'm thinkin the .068 MIGHT be a little to tight for my taste, but you might need to be pretty tight to get that low of a tuning to work |

I use pretty heavy strings and I'm a heavy-handed picker so I could barely use it with the 66 that came on the guitar, it was way too floppy for me. I had to play with a very light touch. If I hit it like I usually play would drop flat by almost a half step. I'm changing it to a .080 when I get home today. | |
