13-string classical

I have just recognized that there is a luthier in my city who builds 13-string guitars

..unfortunately, they go for more than 10k

He looks like a pretty good dealer. I recently ordered a 7 string classical and it's interesting that while I was doing research I never found any information on the builders that have been posted on here recently. But there seem to be more of them branching out and to me that is exciting.

Wow! How low do those bottom strings go? They don't look too thick from what I can see.

My understanding is that this type of guitar is usually tuned in descending scale steps to the key of the piece being played - kind of like a harp guitar.

Actually, with that tuning arrangement, I'll bet it's actually pretty intuitive once you spend a while with it. Looks like fun!

Says somewhere on the site that the tuning is E1 F1 G1 A1 B1 C2 D2 E2 A2 D3 G3 B3 E4
