Double-neck configurations

Inspired by that insane triple-neck in the 'for sale' section, what would your choice of necks be on a double-neck guitar?

Personally I'd go for two seven string necks, one with a floyd-rose and a normal scale, and the other with a hard-tail and slightly extended neck for dropped or open tunings...

Id go for a floyded 7.. maybe 24" scale tuned with a high A. The other one with a TOM and 28" 7 string. tuned to... uh, low F standard? so that the second string is an A anyway. One for shredding and one for heavyass riffing...

What about a 7 with a floyd on top, and bottom have either a hollowbody 6 or a 6 with piezo's for normal chord shapes. I think that would be a cool idea, maybe i'll try to build it someday like 5 years down lol

I'd probably go with an 8-string (maybe even 9-string) 30" hardtail and a 27" 7 with a whammy. I'm not sure which I'd put on top. It would be pretty damn heavy, though.

I think it would be best to put the longer scale on the top for balance, although it might not make a difference.

I'd go with 2 9-string necks - fretted/fretless
