Hey,
This is my first original i recorded for my university audition, on my Custom 8 string.
Thought i'd share it here, any feedback is welcome, just be nice if you can ^_^
Production isn't perfect, but i'm fairly happy with the sound, it was recorded with an Axe FX II, Drums are a blend of Ezdrummer (Cymbals and toms) the snare was stylus ( i think) and the Kick was battery i'm fairly sure.

Not an overly heavy piece, But I hope you like it.

Really nice track, and nice tones. Just the drums that need work imo. Kick and snare are practically inaudible. Beef em up and plenty of compression! Hell, even just turning them up would help a ton

That guitar is a beast btw - how do you find the fanning at the nut? Just curious as my upcoming custom looks a similar angle which would usually be considered pretty extreme

To start with i struggled with it, A few months on It doesn't really phase me, I'm used to it. That said i would get the Perpendicular fret on the 7th or even 5th to alleviate it as it can cause some problems.

Yeah my perp fret is cool it's just the fan on mine is ....ing huge so both the nut and bridge are pretty extreme Not worried about it, just wondering Cheers!

It sounds good. The levels are a little off, especially with the drums, and I'd have added some very slight ducking with the kick, but it definitely sounds cool.

But an Axe-FX II... that's a hefty price tag

Ahh, I wish
It was a hired Axe fx II
It was all done in cubase 5.
Yeah some of the levels are a bit off, I've been tweaking it a little and i might exchange the audio on the youtube video a bit later on, a few panning and bass tweaks
