That is gorgeous sir, excellent taste!

I feel like a good amount of Carvins that I've seen lately are a little questionable in the combination of parts, as if people make their choices for parts individually without considering the whole. Building a guitar is like dressing yourself, even if you love every article of clothing, it's not going to work unless they match properly!

This guitar "works" extremely well! Beautiful!

The only thing that came to my mind was : "WAAWW"
Gorgeous! one of the best looking DC800 I've seen so far. how is that color called? Vintage brown?

Current rig : Agile Intrepid Pro with Lace Aluma Deathbar pickup -> Eleven Rack + TC G-Major -> ESI Near 5 Experience
My string tension calculator STC - supports most D'addarrio and Circle K Strings

Thanks guys,
The color is "Tiger Eye" and I expected it to be more "goldish" when I ordered it. I wanted it to be more like my Bernie Rico Vixen, as on this picture...

http://toprussia.tv/wp-content/uploa.../05/Anton1.jpg

The body is mahogany, mahogany neck, flame maple top, and ebony fretboard.

Gawsh I wouldnt be upset at all. This turned out beautiful. Your choices were right on the money. I do see what you mean about the color or the guitar in that pic there. I think that is more of a cappuccino or something of the sort. I wish that Carvin was just a little bit more flexible in times like this. Overall, that is a fantastic looking guitar tho!

Very nice! I really like the color, even if it's not exactly what you were after. How does it play and sound? I've heard very mixed reviews of the pickups.

I'm really feeling the combinations you went with too dude, very cool, very stylish!

Carvin are really churning out these rad DC800's now aren't they? They're spring up everywhere now and they're all awesome! I still have about 7 or so weeks wait for mine, can't wait.

Congrats again sir.

I work as a session musician in this pop band (it's very famous one in Russia) :

I also have two of my own music projects, one is instrumental, called Tornado Classic :

That's sick. I really wish mine would hurry up and get here. Do you think paying it off entirely will prioritize it a little more? I have well over what i need to pay it off. I don't know why i haven't yet really.

I called them and asked about my 5/18/2012 completion date. Ordered 3/2/2012.

They said they were aiming to get it done and shipped on 5/30/2012.

I paid it off in full the next day 5/5/2012.

My guitar shipped last night, 5/11/2012.... Seems they bumped me up 2 weeks....
