Looks beautiful with the exception of whatever is covering the pickups, seems too much to me.

yeah i know what you mean some how the chrome pickups seens to be misplaced because there is so much black but with the new floyd wich has chrome saddles and maybe i make a little chrom pikcguard (just a half like on the sg reissues) it might look better i want to keeps the chrome black contrast... but thanks for liking the rest ^^

Wow nice guitar man. Great job making it. I love how it looks, and I bet those aluma djents sound great (How much are they and where can I buy some. I can't find them on the LACE site)
What kind of wood is that? I love the finishing you did on the front and the burnt parts. |

Am I missing something here? I guess I just don't get it. I don't understand the logic or function behind taking a perfectly good guitar body, sanding the beautiful finish off it and then grinding deep groves in the wood... Its you're guitar though so whatever.
@zeaoth I just shoved the damn p/u into the cavity. I forced that shit. It works. @DTo8 Does every 8strings buzzes on the low strings? @MatthewLeisher I'd take a dump on a 6505 if the Axe FX asked me to. |

Those Alumitones instantly made your guitar look a ton nicer. I love the brushed wood too, looks amazing!

... i really don`t like original finishes wich look like there made of plastic, or perfektly shapes, perfect/original guitars are boring as hell in my eyes i don`t like how it looks, feels and Sounds the body before had 0% Character and soul wich has it now for me after spending so much time with it ... and i love wood the more natural and worn it looks the better ... for me ![]() And thanks to the other guys wich like how it looks I do mods for other people indeed i hade a few made till now mainly Electric things, adjusting the neck, frets, built in better saddles and nuts and so on |

oh i thought u built it from scratch (carpentry and all)...that was an rg2228? man i just got one a few days ago and im surprised, its a great guitar. but im confused, did u basically swap the pickups, build a floyd n swap the bridge, and swap/upgrade the electronics, and alter the finish?

Do you have more details on how you did the image on the back? You said it's burned; was that with a blow torch and stencil, or something?
