Strictly 7 Custom 8 String - Finally Complete
Thought since I've been waiting over 12 months for my Strictly 7 custom 8 string to be finished I would post some pics of the final product that strictly 7 posted on their facebook site. I am yet to get the guitar in my hands but its being shipped this week

details are:
5 peice maple and flame maple neck
alder body wings
rosewood fret board
emg 808 and 808x pickups
kahler 8 string bridge

the rest you can see for yourselves.

Now... I know most people wouldn't go to extremes with paint colours but I thought being a custom guitar I'd get something that nobody else had... and plus its a little more interesting i think.

My wife bought this for me for our wedding anniversary after i'd been eyeing them off for a while. With lots of back and forth with Jim and the guys at strictly 7 this is the final result.

Would be interested to see what everone thinks.

But seriously, that's a great looking guitar... Don't dig the stripes though. I'd prefer the entire body to be one colour, and then nicely exposing the wood only on the back of the neck and headstock.

Looks pretty cool. The yellow+ natural wood is a little odd, but it grows on you. Happy NGD.

This is the nicest S7 I've ever seen...
And I really, (and I mean really) get thrown off by the Cobra headstock.
But for some reason... I find myself loving your instrument as a whole.
The colour is outrageous and bright, and yet is so damn perfect for that guitar.

I'm in awe, dude.

Thanks for all the comments... I knew the color wouldn't be for some people but I like bright things so thought i'd just go for it knowing not alot of other S7 customs would ever look similar.
