27 fret guitars?

I need one badly, that simple, I have been listening to kiko louriero too much lately and I have to have a 27 fret guitar, does anybody know where I can find a reasonably priced one? all I can think of right now is an old hamer californian or the ESP kiko signature, but I dont have 6k to spend on a guitar right now, and couldnt justify that expensive a axe anyways thanks guys

Go here, and do a search for Caparison. They should have a really nice looking used Horus, which has 27 Fret. Should work out a lot less than 6k.

Or get an old washburn, they had a model with 29 or 36 frets in the early nineties. I've seen one like that on the forum before...

My best advice for you is to get in touch with garry goodman and get a high a string, then you will be able to reach the notes that you want without having to buy a new guitar.

Stephan Forte of Adagio had a LAG (France) custom-made 7-string with 27 frets. Google search "Stephan Forte" and you should find his official website. He's got pictures and specs, which you might want to look at.

(Sorry for not being able to get the website for you. I'm in the middle of a Psychology class right now.)

I got a price quote from a local luthier, Darrell Pura, and he said that it would cost me approximately $2700 CDN for the instrument to be made.

KxK offers it as an option. I can't remember what the up charge is on it, though. If you act quick, you can still get in on the special offer.
