NGD: Carvin DC800 Honeyburst

Editing the movie right now! About to plug her in and let her rip Lighter than I expected and I love the feel of the satin finish. I do admit, I have smaller hands and this neck does feel huge to me. Then again, I am used to six bangers Love the headstock!

Read the title, looked at the pictures, read the headstock logo and still thought it was an Agile, my brain is really failing me today. Looks sweet, I think the hardware would have looked better black though .

The pickups are surprisingly amazing. I hope they make their actives available for six strings. I would describe them somewhere between an EMG X and a D Activator. Have the snap and quick response of an active, yet very full and expressive. I am getting some killer jazz/blues tones on the neck pup. I am still trying to get the hang of the F#. Honestly I would have been fine with seven strings, just couldn't help myself

how's the neck compared to an rg2228? i want to go through carvin but i might go with someone else if i can't put in a special request to have the neck as slim as reasonably possible
