I used to own the first C-8 that they released and sold it for an agile. I wasn't satisfied with the feel but I just picked one of these up to give Schecter another shot. Worst case I can send it back or sell it. Worth a shot for $420

just ordered one! was gonna get a omen 8 a put dactivators in it but for 20 bux more i figured ill get a better guitar try the emgs first and if i dont like em then get the dimarzios sounds. sounds like a win to me!

Ive been skipping NGD threads on my past few guitars but if nobody posts anything maybe I will. Recently picked up a Silverburst Agile 7 string tele too

PSA: As someone who has a Damien Elite 8 and just bought an Agile Septor (28.625")(for approximately the same price), I should let you guys know that the Damien is not a particularly good guitar

The scale is way to damn short, the heel is enormous, the intonation goes out the window when you downtune, and the EMG 808s really aren't great, even compared to the Cepheus pickups on the Agile. It just doesn't sound nearly as good

Also this is coming from a definite Schecter fan, it was the 4th guitar I bought from them

These guys are totally legit as well. Their main location is a block from my work and I bought my ISP Decimator G-String from them. Plus I just did a bunch of body work on the owners car. They're not going anywhere. If I didn't already have two 8 string guitars I'd jump on this deal ASAP...

F# is a ....ed up note to have a string on so people prefer something like Drop E or E standard to make more musical sense. Its not to be darker but to make more sense.

It works. @DTo8 Does every 8strings buzzes on the low strings? @MatthewLeisher I'd take a dump on a 6505 if the Axe FX asked me to.
