So I believe After The Burial got new LACS

And they look fine as hell. I'd kill for the green one. If the finish is the same as on their previous ones, it's probably fluorescent under blacklight too. Also, did those PU-covers get sprayed green at SD or do they do that shit in the LACS too?

Thus expanding their modded RG2228 to... 5? I thought they already had a green one?

Yeah now that you mention, I actually think the green one is Justin's old LACS... So maybe they just did a PU-swap or something.

If this is so, sorry for the false alarm!

They don't have any LACS yet, they're all just modded 2228s. Justin got some custom Blackouts which he just stuck in that 2228 so he has two of the same guitar in reverse colours. They are due LACS soon though I believe.

They are both sick looking... But I think the black one would look even better if it had the inlays, knobs and everything to match - basically making it a UV8BK Blk & Grn...

I think those were done like that from Duncan... Because if you look, they have the black "Seymour Duncan" logo on them. I'd be guessing that Duncan did those pickups in the color, then screen-printed the black logo on them before sending them to Ibanez for installation...

I was under the impression since they are Ibanez endorsees they would be LACS modded, no? That's what I presumed anyway.

Possible... But they could just still be using the ones they've had until the LACS's show up. That is IF Ibanez has even made them LACS's yet, we all know how Ibanez can be and is...

green trem system too

I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight.

I like the other guitarists Pink one. These are definitely sick too. Saw this pic on FB.
I'm in the process of learning Berzerker and it's pretty difficult. I was planning on seeing these guys live in August, but they are going to every date on the tour except mine.

They put on an amazing show when I saw them on the Fear Factory and Divine Heresy Tour. Frankly, I liked the After the Burial set the most! I ended up snagging this when Justin threw it into the audience at the end of the show. It is a pretty damn thin pick for the kind of music they do.

Justin's green RG2228 is the guitar that made me fall in love with the green RC7 that was on DCGL...that I eventually bought. And to MetalBuddah, I also snagged a pick at the end of a show and was surprised at how thin they where. I tried using thin picks to see if it worked...and I couldn't figure out how they do it.

I have no time for bands like After The Burial but those guitars are very cool. I like the black one.

Ibanez artists can have extra options to add to buying production instruments. Remember Bulb's RGA 6? That was a stock RGA modded by LACS to his preference. Devin's green RGD is also a LACS modded production model.
