I have a VB-200 and it's great but I suggest upgrading the pickups anyway so just get the VB-400 to begin with, lol. The VB-200 is gloss and the VB-400 is satin though.

I put the SD Livewire Metal set in my VB-200 and it roars now.

I have a MMM1, yeah the 28" neck-through really makes a huge difference. I'm putting in a DSonic tomorrow, which should make it sound even more killer. Have it tuned down to F with a .75 on the bottom, but I may bump it up to an .80

I'm probably a bit late, but I've honestly found baritone scales to sound looser than shorter ones. They feel tighter, but the sound just isn't there.
