![]() ![]() | Dfh velocity prob if anyone could help me with this it would be great! dfh thing.mp3 im having problems with my snare velocity , the first bar of it is the way i want it to sound n then the second bar randomly makes my snare sound shit the first 2 beats , its like a sorta muffled sound compared to the twang-ish sound that i want , any help on how i can have the same sound through out ?? instead of it goin all random? hope it makes sense haha |

![]() ![]() | im using the DFH expansion for easy drummer , tbh thats the most noticibel one i can find atm btu teh new song im working on has some snare hits that just really stand out :/ wen i put teh velocity knob full its still teh same lol |

IIRC, by default, the mapping of samples is something like this: 10 x samples of full strike, triggered with velocities of 127 (although you can change these velocity thresholds). 10 x samples of gradient strikes, triggered with velocities between 10 and 126 10 x samples of light hits, triggered with velocities between 1 and 10. Inputting snare hits at between 120-126 will mean fewer samples are selected by the randomization algorithm. But as these samples will be from the 'hard' end of the gradient pool, there's a greater chance of significant difference between them. Ignore the velocity knob. Use the velocities of each hit your inputting in your midi editor. |
