I'm disappointed he's playing for Today is the Day. Seems like a big step down from Hate Eternal, besides the fact I don't like TitD.

For balls out speed, no idea. I like the shit Roddy has drummed on better though, he does a lot more creative shit. I feel the same about Yeung these days though, he went from Hate Eternal, Decrepit Birth, and all these brutal death metal bands, to Divine Heresy...

roddy is at the top of extreme metal drumming as far as combining, speed, endurance, precision, power, dymanic, independence. He can match and exceed Tim in tempo, even while throwing all those other factors into the mix.

He is no longer in Today is the Day.

According to Derek, "No fall out but, Steve owes me thousands of dollars from the last tour.
He asked me if I wanted to tour, I told him I couldn't do it for less than x amount, he agreed to that and never finished paying me after the tour.
Needless to say I don't work with people like that and nobody else should either.

And to answer ukfswmart's question, it was financial reasons Roddy said he left HE over as well, he couldn't afford to tour basically. He must have some shitty ass debt or something, or does he have a wife and like 10 kids or something to feed?
