Sounds good. Nice composition, too.
I'd like to hear this again with the snare volume increased and the entire drum track mid-scooped.

Sounds really good! Nice guitar tone.
The only "problems" I can find have already been said, the drums just don't seem to fit in becuase they are just that little bit too quiet.
Awesome song by the way!

I really liked it, great job man! I want to look into DFHS because I'd like to record some simple clips eventually and I can't play the drums hehe! Again, great job!

With dkfh (first one) I had had a snare I liked, but it would either stand out too much or was buried the rest of the mix. I had to choose another sample to get what I wanted. I would say mess with samples (if im not mistaken you can mix top mic and bottom mic mix with dfhs, so you might bring up the top head a little more)

Wow, this is a really great response! Thanks to everyone for the kind words and feedback on this. It's really encouraging and helpful.

newamerikangospel, yeah, there's a top and bottom mic for the snare in DFHS, and I compress the hell out of the bottom mic to get that really nice crack and rattle, then compress the top a little for a nice full sound and push the slider up on this track. The problem I have is getting the great snare sound and boost the gain on the compressor without getting too much background noise out of it. It's a real "rob Peter to pay Paul" scenario *shakes fist*
