![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Any one march? I know the first thing most people associate drums with is being in a band or stuff, but some of my most fun times playing drums and percussion have been on a drumline. ![]() Anyone else on a drumline? I'm playing tenors next season after a few years of playing bass drum. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I marched with a trombone. My freshman year of high school the drumline was fucking amazing. but then as the people started graduating, they were replaced by shittier people, and last year they fucking sucked. ![]() Dave didn't like the song on the radio. So he killed a little girl. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Trumpet for two years in middle school... I think we were one of the few middle schools that had a marching band. It was pretty cool. Back then I still had all my brain cells and could remember my parts. |

![]() ![]() | I played tenors in high school, made callbacks for Corps, didn't have the money, now instruct the tenor line at my old high school (Occasionally). But my passion will always be guitar... I've lost a lot of chops in the almost 5 years since I've been out of HS, so I really don't even consider myself a drummer anymore. Corps guys are wicked, but really stuck up most of the time. In a way, they deserve to be, but they don't need to be. It's the mallet players that you need to watch out for. Almost every mallet player I was around could play circles around any guy(or girl) on the battery. It's kinda nice to see some fellow marchers here. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I miss marching SO much... I played Cymbals, then 4th Bass, and then Quints for two years. Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known. http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/gen...ml#post1166807 Buy my sunglasses! ![]() |
