My drums :)

OC Venice series.

Pretty straight forward. Part of their production line so I didn't totally get teabagged on the price.

long cannon type bass drums can be fun
but the appearance of a 4 piece with really high up cymbals, to me
will always be a turnoff, as its every other drummer's setup

meinl's a good choice, what all cymbals you using?

I like my guitar tone like I like my women, perfect rounded bottom end, cut in the mid section, heavy on the top end, and super tight.

I think it's the angle. I don't think the cymbals are that high up, but if the OP would post a pic from the front, we'd be able to tell better.

I never really got into OC drums. I think they have a decent design, construction, and sound, but at the prices they ask, forget it. I'll custom order a Drum Workshop instead.

This is a really cool set, though. Simple and to the point.

In my opinion, when it comes to playing as a proper drummer, less is always more.

I have always had a thing for a simplified kit like this. If I ever get the spare cash I think I might go for something VERY similar to this. Ooh it looks nice!
